In April 1986, a nuclear explosion occurred in the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, Ukraine. It is recorded in history as one of the worst nuclear accidents of history. The explosion released radiation into the air that killed many people who developed acute radiation syndrome, while two people died on the same night. The radioactive radiations released in the atmosphere were so strong that the place is still not habitable and won’t be for many more years to come.
